Galvin Marine Engineering are on the lookout for the best people to complement our existing service department and workshop team. As a field service engineer, you will be home based working throughout the UK and overseas on oil rigs and marine vessels often for extended periods of time. We don’t pretend that vans, phones, and laptops are benefits, they are the basic requirement for a field service engineer in this industry. Apprenticeship program
Working alongside one of the UK’s best engineering colleges, we are on the lookout for our next managing directors, project managers and workshop managers. This is what we truly want our apprentices to become. We want people to not just have a job but a career with a family company for many years to come. Apprenticeships last for four years and then HNC qualification on completion. Apprentices will be on site with our senior engineers as well as in the workshop and college is attended on a block release basis. We believe the industry we work in can attract young brilliant minds who want to learn more about this field of engineering and get to travel over the world, not just the UK for work opportunities.
